OBJECTIVE

All aRoundnet is a CUS Padova project to promote sports practice as an educational activity for socialization and integration , aimed primarily at inactive young people in order to combat sedentary lifestyle and the abandonment of sports activity.
The project promotes in particular ROUNDNET , an unconventional sport with a high innovative and educational content and high accessibility for the identified target audiences.

THE ROUNDNET

Roundnet is a dynamic, intuitive and fun game, suitable for everyone regardless of age, gender or physical ability. Two people form a team and try to hit the ball onto the trampoline, making sure that the opposing duo is unable to hit it back.
The principles of the game are:

• Spirit of the game and fair play . The game is self-refereed: all players are responsible for conducting the game and respecting the rules.

• Respect for the rules . A prerequisite for self-refereeing is that all players know the rules perfectly and respect them, creating a positive and self-organizing climate.

• Inclusion . Everyone can play Roundnet, because it is not just about physical ability, but also about creativity and lots of fun.

The activities took place mainly outdoors, both at the university sports facilities to introduce young people to the CUS facilities, and in various open spaces in the city of Padua, particularly in the areas most frequented by students.
